UCLA

UCLA is a stupid, stupid campus. And people in the PARKING AND INFORMATION kiosks couldn't give directions or tell me where to buy a fucking parking permint. I hate LA. No danger of me transferring anywhere!

UCLA also spells ACLU. Parking miss/non-information is one of our most treasured civil liberties. The school needs money from parking tickets and if everyone knew where they were going, the parking information attendants would loose their jobs and the school would loose money from giving out parking tickets. How can you be so selfish?

The guy did try to tell me that I could just buy day passes everyday at $8/pay for 6 weeks. Yay! $240 to park my goddamn car! Can I have the metro back now? Why isn't there a metrolink or anything that goes from Northridge to UCLA?

Most people in this state don't give a damn about Public Transportation, I just found out that Santa Clara county voters rejected measure A, meaning they rejected a half cent sales tax increase to fund the 27.5 mile BART extension into San Jose. What really eats me up is that it wasn't just wealthy areas like Los Altos and Los Gatos that voted down the measure, the economically depressed areas of east San Jose overwhelmingly said no to the increase, these are the people who the extension will benefit the most

No! Stupid. What with all the complaints about gas prices, you'd think people could handle another half cent in tax for an alternative over continuing to feed their gas-guzzlers. But i suppose most poeple don't really think about long-term budgeting, either; this is why debt counselors do so well.
Ugh. So much for moving to Northern California for a little while after graduation...New York/Portland, here I come!

Wait! This is just San Jose that I'm talking about, San Jose is just a 1970's version of the valley. San Francisco and the East Bay are different.

Oh, okay, good. San Jose wasn't really on the list anyway.
