Goody Bag!

So, the neurologist isn't ready to give me preventative drugs until he follows up with me (I get to keep a migraine journal til late June), but he did give me a whole goody bag of prescription meds to take when they happen so as to find the one with the fewest feverish side affects. Yay, progress!

I spent the rest of the day hanging out with Eddie and wandering about the Valley, which was fun. Also, it pointed out the lack of things to do in the Valley: First, we did our mothers' Costco shopping for them. Then we went to Target, then to 99ยข store, then to Subway. I did notice random things where I've changed--like, we used to exchange music a lot, but we've started liking less and less of the same music, or other small things. But it really was quite nice to see him. Also, I had discovered that I accidentally bought a full-screen copy of "Lost in Translation," and he had a wide-screen, though we both preferred the other, so we traded. Well, I'm glad I'm not rebuying. :-)

(btw, Kevin, we have 10 more glasses! Fewer of more designs (1 of one, 2 of one, 3 of one, and 4 of one), but I think you'll like them.)

Now you have split personalities?? ;-)

okay, I'll take some pictures.

Rader, Ackermann, and Nuttall all say "hi," though I didn't have much time to talk to them. :-)

Castrate that Neurologist, how many more of these things do you need to have before someone will recognize that there's a problem here?

Si"nce I "don't know what my trigger is (or if I even have one), he wants me keeping a log of them and things I've done earlier in the day to see if there's a trigger I'm unaware of/if they're more avoidable. Ha. Basically, it's standard procedure not to jump right to the preventative stuff; I'll need to prove in June that they're too random for me to recognize any kind of pattern. The sucky part is, I need to actually have the migraines to get there. But at least I have prescription stuff I can take (some midday, without water).

Also, I took the picture of the glasses...only to discover I left my cord to upload them at home. At some point, my dad will get home and I will use his card reader.:-)
